Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Pontypridd

Location: Pontypridd

Practice: The surgery is built to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house lab.

Team: You will be joining an existing team of 2 vets, 4 Nurses (including our brilliant students), and amazing Care Assistants and Receptionist. By joining them you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible.

Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet looking for a new challenge within a small team and the role will play a key part in shaping the success of the practice.

Hours: This is either a full or part-time role, they can be flexible to work around you!

Part-time could be 2-3-4 days/week - 10am - 2.30pm! (Ideal for school runs)

OOHS/WE: No weekends, OOHS, or Bank Holidays - also no overnight in-patient checks

Consults: 15 mins – 30 mins appointment time,

Breaks: Paid breaks (1h lunch break + 30mins extra) - Supportive working environment with 1 to 1 nurse support for consults

Skills/Exp: The ideal candidates to join their team will have good general surgical and medical skills, experience in emergency surgery, and be confident in an occasional sole charge role, enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.

Salary: Competitive salary £35,000-£50,000 p/a (DOE) - pro-rata for PT
