We are working with a client with a practice based in Leamington Spa, West Midlands that is looking to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a part-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town located in the heart of Warwickshire with great links to the M40 (5 miles) A46 (4 miles) and the M45 (11 miles). The train station is also ideally located within a half a mile from the surgery making it easily accessible. To reach other practices, Stratford Upon Avon is 13 miles and Coventry is 12 miles.

The surgery is relatively new, opening fully in September 2017, and is purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab and operating suite.

The Role:

This is a permanent position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. Our client can offer a part time role based within Leamington Spa working 3 days a week.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for variety within their role and exposing you to lots of different development opportunities, or someone looking for part time hours to fit in around their home life balance. Weekends are a 1 in 3 rota, and during the weekends surgeries are not carried out except in the case of emergencies. Applicants must have good general surgical and medical skills as the role also includes sole charge. The practice hours are weekdays mostly 9am - 7pm and weekends Saturday 9am - 6pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.

The Candidate:

The successful applicant will have great people skills, a good general surgical and medical background and will work well in a team. You must also have good communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, the patients and the practice team.
