Facilities: They are an RCVS-accredited small animal hospital and hold ISFM gold standard cat-friendly status and the silver rabbit-friendly award. The team is also currently working towards the dog-friendly award. They recently refurbished several areas within the practice, including their cat-only dedicated side of the building. Their facilities include:
- Purpose-built building - separate dog and cat waiting rooms, kennels, prep areas and separate theatres
- On-site CT Scanner
- Video endoscopy
- Digital x-ray
- Dedicated Dental suite with a new dental X-ray machine
- Colour flow Doppler ultrasound
- Separate exotics ward.

- Slit lamp bio-microscope, Tonometry, and cryotherapy

They value high clinical standards within first-opinion care and have a large client base of established loyal clients. Having the CT scanner enables them to keep more complex cases in-house and work cases up to a high standard.
Role: Our client is looking for an experienced individual to join their team of 8 vets. They are looking for a vet with an interest in diagnostic imaging to join their small animal hospital complete with a CT scanner. They are also open to someone with an interest in surgery.
Hours: The right person is most important so they will happily discuss Full-time, part-time or flexible working hours. There is no OOH/bank holiday. Full-time work is normally split over 4 days with a rotating weekday off to create regular 4-day weekends. Shift patterns cover varying portions of their opening hours: 08:00-19:00. Plus Saturdays 08:30-13:00
Sole Charge: There is no sole charge as there are a minimum of 3 vets working each day, with at least 2 vets operating (2 separate theatres, plus separate dental and imaging suites). They have a large, experienced team who support each other sharing case knowledge and advice daily. They have 2 consult only vets so they would ideally be looking for a vet who also enjoys surgery. Flexible appointment length based on case requirements.
Applicant Requirements: They are looking for a vet with an interest in diagnostic imaging and are also open to someone with an interest in surgery.
CPD: They believe in developing your individual interests and they have certificate-holders in ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging, both of which were fully funded by the practice. They will support certificates or CPD schedules and work with you to achieve your goals.
Salary: Competitive salary of up to £68,000 p/a Depending on Experience
