Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Scunthorpe
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon (preferably with Medicine bias) to support their 24 hour hospital in Scunthorpe. Ideally, you will have 3-5 years' of in-practice veterinary experience and have a keen interest in medicine (certificate holder).
Our client has a central large branch practice that has 4 consult rooms and, 1 surgical theatre, a digital x-ray room, large prep area. With facilities that include digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment in-house blood machines. They have two branch surgeries that generate client contact and caseload.

The Role and Candidate:
You will be joining a busy hospital practice that has fantastic clients and is active in the local community. You will also be working within well-equipped practices.
They take pride in their collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon experienced vets for advice - and get to know the other vets within group and discuss clinical matters.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively and empathetically.
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 39 hours per week with shifts of 09:00-19:00 and only 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends.
To be eligible for this role you must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS. Ideally, you will have 3-5 years' of in-practice veterinary experience and a keen interest in medicine (certificate holder).
