Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Sheffield

Location: Close to Sheffield in South Yorkshire - near peak district and with excellent transport links.
Practice Type: This Veterinary Group is an independently owned and run practice operating over 2 sites in South Yorkshire.
Team Info:
- They run a busy 6 vet surgery fully supported by a dedicated team of RVNs, ACAs, and support staff.
- They have a supportive dedicated team many of whom have been with the practice for 20+ years.
- They have friendly and respectful clients and are at the heart of the local community.
Facilities: They are kitted out with modern equipment including digital X-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscope, ECG, onsite lab, and full surgical and inpatient facilities.
The Role: They are looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team
Hours: This is a full-time role, working a 3.5-day working week + OOH rota, 1 night per week and 1 weekend in 6
Skills/Exp:
- They are open to a new graduate at the start of their journey or a more experienced vet.
- They have a proven track record of supporting new graduates and have a vet GDP advisor.
- They are also happy to support more experienced vets through certificates
Duties: Case continuity is encouraged and supportive experienced vets are always available. Days are varied with consulting and surgery, there is an opportunity for some equine work if keen. A great alternative to the corporate ‘recipe’.
Salary: Salary package £37,000-£55,000 p/a dependant on experience plus out of hours bonus
