Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Sheffield

Facilities: This is a thriving, well-equipped hospital with a great team, located in a lovely area with easy access to the M1 and only 15 minutes’ drive from the Peak District. All of that and as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Not for Profit organisations makes it a great place to work.

Team: They have a large experienced team of vets whose specialisms include: Radiology, Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Emergency and Critical Care. Their team are experienced in mentoring people through their working day and has further qualifications. In addition to their clinical skills, they have some great cooks and the staff-room table is rarely bare.

Hours; This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 37.5-hour working week with the earliest start time being 8.30 am and the latest finish time is 6 pm.

Weekends: You also only work one whole weekend and one Saturday approximately every three months and time off in lieu is given for these. Work-life balance is very important, so are happy to explore flexible and/ or part-time working opportunities.

Salary: Competitive, £35,865 - £50,949 (including allowances) per annum
