Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Southampton

We are working with a growing and thriving small animal veterinary practice in Southampton that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic small animal vet with in-practice qualified experience, who is passionate about the provision of high-quality service to patients and clients.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client offers a great work/life balance and a chance to work within their professional & up to date clinic alongside a friendly team of Vets, Nurses, VCA’s and Receptionists.

You will be supported to develop your skills and will have the opportunity to progress. 

This is a full-time permanent position where you will be rostered into a 4 day working week plus 1:4 weekends. This averages out to 37 hours p/w over a 4 week period. 

You will be an enthusiastic small animal vet with in-practice qualified experience, who is passionate about the provision of high-quality service to patients and clients.  You will be a key participant in the running of this dynamic and forward-thinking clinic, supporting the Head Vet and the rest of the veterinary team. You are keen to continually improve your professional knowledge and experience and are an excellent communicator, understanding that educating pet owners about their pets’ welfare is just as important as providing high-quality treatment.

The Remuneration Package:

Along with a well-structured rota, you will receive an excellent package that includes:

  • Salary dependent on experience;
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays;
  • 5% Pension Contribution;
  • Cycle scheme;
  • £1,500 CPD allowance / 5 days off;
  • VDS & RCVS fee’s covered;
  • Free food Friday’s.
