Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Southend-on-Sea

We are working with a friendly practice in Southend-on-Sea that is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

The Practice Partners have over 35 years of veterinary experience between them and they work alongside a talented and supportive onsite team of 14, including 3 vets and 5 nurses. The practice is purpose-built with state-of-the-art facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound scanner, laser therapy, machine, multi-parameter monitor with ECG, and access to endoscopy and CT facilities. The practice has lots of free on-site parking, excellent transport links on the doorstep, and close proximity to the famous seafront!

The Role and Candidate:

This role is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 weekends. There is no OOH's responsibility ensuring an excellent work/life balance! They aim to always have 2 vets working at any one time, but there will be occasions where you will need to work sole charge, so confidence with this is a must. The ideal new team member will be confident in dealing with all routine surgical and medical cases and enjoy building strong relationships with patients and clients as well as providing support to the wider team. The team holds a variety of individual interests and the partners fully support all colleagues in developing their own areas of interest with CPD and various training opportunities.
