Practice Type: A well-established reputation in the local area and their caseload is very varied. They see a good mixture of routine but also more advanced cases. They are exclusively a first-opinion small animal practice but welcome those with special interests, or those keen to work towards a Certificate.
Services/Facilities: Your role will involve working from a beautiful, light and spacious 12,000 sq foot building that houses separate dental, imaging, and chemotherapy suites, surgical and orthopaedic theatres with dedicated cat and dog wards, and their very own conference room facilities. They are keen to keep progressing, with tier 2 status approved, hospital status will come later
Team: The team is currently 2 vets and is supported by 4 nurses, 3 VCA, and 8 receptionists, all passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients.
Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a fun and fully engaged team!
Hours: The practice is looking for a full-time or part-time vet, and they are very flexible in their approach to recruitment.
Weekends: Your role will include working weekends and you will be supported by RVNs & front of house team.
OOHS: There are no OOHs or on-call as they are supported by Vets Now.
Skills/Exp:
Ideally someone with a strong medical or surgical background/interest, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
They are also open to accepting candidates who only wish to operate or consult.
Their team is actively encouraged to study towards a certificate and any special interests will be supported.
Applicant Requirements: The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered. You will be an enthusiastic, passionate, patient, and caring individual who is interested in and willing to promote and build the practice.
Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience + relocation package and accommodation
