Permanent Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Wakefield

Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Practice Type: Part of a group

Facilities: Digital X-ray, ultrasound, IM3 dental machines, Abaxxis lab equipment, endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, Tonopen, Bair Hugger and ventilator at the main hospital site

Team: You will be working alongside a team of 14 Vets and 16 RVNs

Hours: 4-day working week

Weekends/OOHs: 1 in 4 weekends. OOHs Mon-Fri 5 pm-midnight with on-call until 8 am for inpatients only. Rota of 1 in 7

Branch work: Yes

Vehicle required: Can be provided as part of a package

Accommodation: Can be provided as part of a package

Salary: £35,000-£60,000 per annum depending on experience. Additional certificates/experience may negotiate a higher salary bracket

CPD: Allowance of £1750 per annum

Fees paid: Yes

Holiday: 5 weeks plus bank holiday entitlement plus an additional buy and sell scheme

Pension: Yes
