Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Wigan

Our client looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to further expand their team of dedicated vets and help increase the services they offer to clients.

Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal

Location: Wigan, Lancashire

Practice: Small Animal

Team: Experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons (including some certificate holders) and an excellent team of Registered Veterinary Nurses / Student Nurses and support staff

Facilities: The premises are both light and spacious and are fully equipped with x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, tonometry, in-house labs, and bipolar diathermy. Both surgeries have dedicated ventilation systems with positive pressure operating rooms to provide a healthy working environment.

Hours: The full-time rota requires you to work a 36-hour week over 4 days Monday to Friday and 1 in 5 Saturday mornings. Should you be looking for part-time there is the option of a 22 hour week also. There is no OOH requirement for this role.

Applicant Requirements: You will be an enthusiastic Vet Surgeon with some post-qualification experience preferably. You will enjoy first opinion duties, but they are keen to consider supporting professional interests where possible, so please do speak to the practice about any you may have!

Salary: They are offering a salary of up to £52,000 p/a DOE
