We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary nurse on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The Practice:
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
Enjoying a good variety of interesting medical and surgical cases at this modern and well-equipped practice, you’ll be joining a collaborative team of vets supported by 2 vets, 2 nurses and 2 receptionists.
The role:
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week on a rota basis. As this would be a new surgery, the hours are yet to be confirmed and will be discussed at interview stage. Weekends are likely to be on a 1:3 basis with hours compensated during the week. There will be no OOH with this position. Salary on offer will be negotiable depending on experience.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be confident with all general nursing duties and be happy to work as part of a team and on their own too. This role offers a varied caseload and will be a busy practice environment.
