Specialist Vet Surgeon’s required to work in a state of the art Veterinary Hospital in Hong Kong or Shanghai- Opening spring 2018.
This is an incredible opportunity for a small animal vet surgeon to relocate to Hong Kong or Shanghai to work in a state of the art Veterinary Hospital.
The Practice:
The hospitals are currently under construction and will near completion in the spring of 2018. Interior construction is just starting, so the opening dates are about 6 months away. All hospitals are located in very affluent residential neighbourhoods.
The Role:
The specialty hospital field is relatively new, or non-existent in this region, so as a specialist you must be adaptable and possess a pioneering spirit. The job role will be a combination of practicing and mentoring local vets and nurses. Our client intends to provide informal residency to talented local vets, and the specialists will be responsible for this program.
You will occasionally provide lecturers and workshops for large groups of local vets, both in conferences and online video conferences. You will also play a part and help to specify equipment and other materials required in the hospitals.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for adventure and be willing to relocate to Hong Kong or Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have either completed a residency or have a certificate in one of the following fields, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology, Anaesthesia, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology or Dental.
For a specialist vet, our client will start with salaries of around £70,000+ P/A + House, relocation, school fees (circa $50,000 USD) and home leave will be paid for. It is well worth bearing in mind tax is capped at 17% in Hong Kong
