We are currently recruiting for a lovely busy and close knit practice based in Coventry, Warwickshire, who are looking for a permanent and full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their wonderful team.
The Practice:
Our client a friendly and professional practice. They are a Tier 2, Nurse training practice, 9 Vets and 10 Nurses. The spacious main premises provide comprehensive facilities to enable them to diagnose and treat all clients pets effectively, they include many facilities such as: consulting rooms, 2 surgical theatres, X-ray, Ultrasound, Blood-pressure Machine, Dental Unit, In-house laboratory, Diagnostic room, Endoscope, ECG, Anaesthetic monitoring, Incubator and Computerisation at all of their branches. They also offer a wide variety of services including Vaccinations, Puppy and Kitten care, Microchipping, Worming and Flea Control, Neutering, Consultations, Dental Care, Operations, Electrocardiography, Intensive Care, Laboratory, Home Visits, Pet Travel Scheme and even Acupuncture. Nurse Consultations also involve a wide variety of services including Nail-trimming, 5-month development review, Post-operative check, Post-operative suture removal, Microchipping, Nutritional advice, Dressing changes, Help to administer medication, Warming / Flea advice, Dental hygiene advice and Weight control advice.
The Role:
This is a full-time position covering 5 days per week on a rota basis between 8 am - 8 pm.
There is also 1 in 3 Saturdays cover 8am-5pm.
There is no OOH or Sundays with this position.
The salary on offer would start around £18,000 for a Newly Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse and rises with experience to suit the candidate. CPD is offered as part of the package and they are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to come in and develop within the practice and grow both personally and professionally.
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
