We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, small animal hospital based in Northwich, Cheshire. The practice are looking for a dedicated registered veterinary nurse to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Client
Our client is a dedicated, independent small animal veterinary practice based in Northwich, Cheshire. Their dedicated team of veterinary surgeon and nurses are able to offer a complete continuity of care whilst providing the excellent standards that they hold themselves to. Working alongside 4 vets and 4 nurses, our client's nursing team offer nurse clinics, care for both medical and surgical inpatients and provide excellent nursing where particular interests are supported and encouraged. Their state of the art imaging suite consists of digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy allowing them a comprehensive approach to investigating cases.
Role
Our client is looking for a full time, permanent registered veterinary nurse to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be an RVN and will be working a 40 hours week.
The hours are on a rota basis between 08:00-20:00 and will be working 8 hours shifts.
There is weekend rota of 1:6. This will require you to be on call from Saturday until Monday.
You will be based on site as this is a hospital and there are plenty of opportunities to sleep.
There is also a requirement to complete a week of nights which is on a rota of 1:6.
The goes from Monday to Friday and the working hours will be 19:00-08:30.
During this shift, the work will consist of inpatient checks and emergency work but you will be able to sleep after 11pm.
