We are working with a client based in Hornsea, East Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client is a 7 vet Practice with 2 sites, which are both able to function independently. They currently have eight nursing staff in their team and are looking to increase this to nine.
Both sites are a student training practices and currently have student nurses working for them. They are looking for someone who is keen to work in a team to provide excellent nursing for their patients. You will work with the other member of the team to further the range of nursing clinics and nursing services provided to clients and patients. They are looking for a nurse who would fit well into this friendly and dedicated team.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week. The weekend rota consists of 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and 1 in 7 full weekends on call. They also have a one night on call during the week, which is currently running at 5 weeks out of 7. The vets have the phones overnight and are responsible for checking the in patients, duty nurses are called to assist the vets if needed, for example, to monitor an anaesthetic.
