We are currently working with an RCVS accredited mixed practice based in Southern Kent (close to the border with East Sussex) that is looking for a full-time veterinary nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
Client:
Our client has been treating and caring for animals in the Kent area for over 100 years and has built up a friendly, reputable practice. They have a main branch in Southern Kent with four other branches located in the area. They work with companion animal’s equine and farm animals [80% Small Animal/10% Equine and 10% cattle and sheep] including referrals and second opinion work. Their practice is well equipped and is able to offer the following services: acupuncture, X-ray, dentistry, ECG referrals, Echocardiography & ultrasound, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology referrals, nutrition advice, vaccinations, a variety of clinics, microchipping, pet insurance and passports plus 24-hour emergencies.
Role:
This is a full-time position working with 10 vets and 7 nurses plus a practice support team. The shifts vary from 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, and 10am-7pm Monday to Friday. The weekend rota is 1:5, this will be on call with one evening per week on call.

The ideal candidate will be newly qualified and be looking for a practice where they are supported and can progress. Our client encourages their employees to develop interests through certificates. You will be friendly, hardworking and a team player.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
