We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly practice situated in Halesowen, West Midlands. The practice is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team of 20 nurses on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Practice: 
This is a fantastic group of four practices with the latest equipment (ECG, ultrasound, video endoscopy, access on a fortnightly basis to MRI) and has recently invested £30K on the latest laparoscopy equipment.  There's a great team spirit and people like to discuss cases and are keen to help. All the practice are air conditioned and they regularly invest in modern veterinary diagnostic instruments, x-ray, laboratory, anaesthetic and surgical equipment meaning they can always offer the best possible treatment. The group's main practice also runs their own OOH. This is a group of 4 practices across the West Midlands with a team of 20 nurses who rotate between the practices so branch work will be required.

The Role:
This is a full-time role to join the practices day nurse team, working 38 hours per week with a variety of shifts between 7 am - 7 pm. 

There is no out of hours with this role as they have a dedicated night team. 

The weekends are on a 1:6 rota and within that 1:6 you would work on a Saturday with a full day in lieu, then the next weekend on would be a full weekend with the following Thursday and Friday off in lieu (not necessarily the following weekend).

This is a group of 4 practices across the West Midlands with a team of 20 nurses who rotate between the practices so branch work will be required. The practice holds puppy parties twice a week which is covered by the nurses also but are paid over time. The role includes general nursing duties as well as a number of nurse clinics. The practice can offer a hands-on nursing role as they have a team of receptionists and Kennel staff to enable their nurses to be nurses.

The Candidate: 
The ideal candidate will be confident with all nursing duties, with a team spirit and a caring manner.

In return the practice is offering a salary ranging between £17,000 - £22,000 depending on experience, as well as CPD, holiday and additional benefits.
