We are currently recruiting on behalf of a first opinion, small animal practice based in Hemel Hempstead, who require an additional Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
This is a purpose-built practice with a friendly team of 3 vets, 3 veterinary nurses, 2 receptionists, 1 practice manager, and accounts. This is a family run practice which has a full range of surgical and diagnostic equipment. They pride themselves on providing high standard of veterinary care and a friendly and professional service to clients and patients.
The Role:
This is a full-time role working 35hrs per week 4 days per week. Shifts between 8:30am-7pm (usually two long shifts, 2 shorter shifts per week with the same day off). The weekend rota is 3 in 8 and no out of hours requirements.
This role is very much client based and will involve nurse consults etc.
In return, the practice can offer a generous salary from £18,000pa + based on experience, as well as annual leave allowance, CPD, pension etc.
The Candidate:
Applicants must have a friendly and professional manner with strong customer service skills. Newly registered RVNs also considered as there is lots of support available.
