We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join a lovely independent practice in Worcester. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious veterinary nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
They are a friendly, independent practice serving clients and pets in the local area since the 90s. They are modern and well-equipped, having been extended and refurbished to a purpose built small animal care environment including an isolation ward to contain potentially infectious patients.
The Role:
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday with shifts of either 08:00-16:00, 11:30-19:30 or a split shift of 08:00-12:30/16:30-19:30. The weekend rota will be 1:4 Saturday and Sunday, including on-call (only called in if the vet needs assistance).
The practice is proud to offer their own OOH emergency service; to be there for their loyal clients when needed most, therefore this role will include some on-call during the week as well.
The Candidate:
The practice is seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious veterinary nurse and any level of experience will be considered for the role, from final year student to a more experienced candidate. A local candidate would be preferred as there is no accommodation available with the role. Own vehicle would be ideal due to the on-call element, however not essential as long as can get to the practice out of hours if needed.
