We are working with a busy hospital practice in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire that is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse. This a permanent position that would suit a newly qualified RVN right through to a nurse with lots of experience.
The Practice:
This is an established veterinary practice which has been here for over 100 years and has a fully equipped practice which includes fully equipped surgical and diagnostic facilities. They have a dedicated team of 10 vets and 12 nurses who are all dedicated to providing excellent veterinary care and services to their patients and clients.
The Role:
This is a full-time role working 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with shifts of either 08:30 - 16:30 or 11:30 - 19:30. There is an out of hours rota which is 1:7 weeknights and you will stay over in the practice flat and deal with the inpatients and emergencies that come in. You will have a designated ‘sleep time’ which is 23:00 - 07:00, during your shift. There is also a weekend rota which is 1:7 Saturday’s or Sunday’s working in practice 09:00 - 12:00 and you will stay in the practice after this, the same as the weekday out of hours.
The Candidate:
This position would suit a newly qualified RVN right through to someone with 10 years plus, experience. You will be a motivated and dedicated RVN with a passion for gold standards of care.
