We are recruiting on behalf of an independent practice situated in Lincolnshire who is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their happy and friendly team.
The Practice:
This practice was founded in the 1950’s and moved to their current site in the 1980’s they treat all types of animals. The practice was completely refurbished in 2004 to include a purpose-built two-storey extension which accommodates two new operating theatres, separate dog and cat wards, larger isolation facilities and a new laboratory. They also have all the ‘kit’ to aid with diagnosis and treatment e.g. X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy.
The Role:
The position is full time working 40 hours a week on a rota of late and early shifts. There is a 1 in 4 weekend rota which will also involve on call as well as 1 night per week. The practice pays a retainer of £100 for being on call, £30 per hour at weekends and £15 per hour for the weekday on call.
The Candidate:
This position would suit an experienced RVN who can hit the ground running! The practice is looking for someone who is confident with general nursing duties, can carry out nurse clinics and can bring new ideas to the team. You will be joining a team of 3.5 Vets and 3 ANA’s as the only RVN so this position is perfect for someone looking to progress in their career.

Out of Hours: 1 in 4 weekends and 1 night a week on call
Salary: Between £22,000 - £25,000 dependent on skills and experience + CPD + RCVS+VDS
