We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, small animal veterinary practice based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Our client is looking for a full-time, permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
A modern and bright vet surgery with full surgical facilities on-site, including two fully-equipped operating theatres, their own intensive care facilities - so animals requiring critical care can be hospitalised there overnight, separate dog and cat recovery wards, comprehensive in-house laboratory with the latest diagnostic equipment, including digital x-ray facility and endoscopy.
Our client is currently looking for a dedicated permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis. This position is a 40-hour week with hours on a rota basis between 08:00-19:30. There is a 1 in 5 weekend rota where you will work 8.30-15:00 both Saturday and Sunday.
There is not a set out of hours rota but they do have inpatient checks where you will stay 1 night per week if needed, you will receive a bonus and accommodation to stay over if necessary. However, if there are no inpatients to look after you will not be required and will miss your turn “on call”. You will be joining an expanding team of 3 vets & 5 nurses!
This position will suit either a newly qualified or an experienced Veterinary Nurse. You will be a good team player and keen to work in a friendly referral environment, that is supportive of further development.

To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
