We are currently working on behalf of a small animal practice in the Keighley area, who are currently recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Practice:
The team is committed to providing gold standard care at all times for both clients and their pets. They strive to encourage the expansion of knowledge and skills to enable the most up to date and innovative care, enabling them to exceed expectations at all times.

Their modern facilities include digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, doppler ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure monitor, endoscope, video arthroscopy, and in-house lab. All operating theatres contain modern anaesthetic and monitoring equipment.

The Role:
The veterinary group has 3 sites, and this role is going to be based at their Keighley site. This full-time role consists of a working rota that includes shifts of either 8.00-16.00 or 11.00-19.00.
As the on-call rota is split between the 10 nurse team, the mid-week on-call requirement is only a few times per month.
The weekend on-call consists of 1:10 Saturday 8.00-12.00 then on-call until Monday and 1:10 Friday night on-call with Saturday 8.00-12.00.

Following a weekend on-call, you would receive 2 days off in lieu.

The practice would like to develop their Nurse clinics so would love an RVN to take on this responsibility.
All 3 sites are training practices so they would be happy to support you through your clinical coaching if you wished.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary (DOE) + 4 weeks annual leave + Bank holidays (or time off in lieu) + pension + CPD + professional fees.

To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

What happens next: Click APPLY to apply for this role and a member of our team will be in touch if you have been successful.
