We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Durham, North East England.

Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, and you will be scheduled to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis. This role would suit a confident and ambitious veterinary nurse/student nurse who works well in a team. You will be part of a dynamic team comprising of 3 vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 5 receptionists. You will bring excellent communication skills, and relish being part of a very friendly, relaxed and social practice.
The team work in a fast paced environment with a variety of cases and are therefore looking for a colleague who is a strong team player and happy to share their knowledge for the benefit of the wider team. They ideally want someone who has a proactive and flexible approach with strong general nursing skills. Above all else you will be driven and passionate about animal welfare and delivering an outstanding and consistent service for all of our clients and their animals.
