We are currently recruiting for a busy, independent Veterinary Hospital who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent and full-time basis. Our client is based in the Guildford area of Surrey.
The Practice:
Established in the early 2000s, our client's practice aims to give the highest possible standard of care at all times, at the same time as providing a friendly and approachable atmosphere. They are lucky enough to have excellent staff, all dedicated to animal care. Each member of staff has their own particular area of interest. They have five vets, four qualified nurses, three trainee nurses, five receptionists and one practice manager. They are constantly updating their equipment and have bronchoscopes as well as gastroscopes. They also have digital x-ray processors, excellent laboratory facilities, a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, video endoscope and full monitoring equipment for intensive care patients and those under anaesthetic. They underwent extension and refurbishment of the building and they are now an accredited Veterinary Hospital.
Role:
This would be a full-time role working 40 hours per week between 07:00 am & 20:00 pm. You will work 8-hour shifts and have a 1-hour unpaid lunch. You will work 1:4 weekends and this will be a Saturday 07:00 am -18:30 pm and Sunday 08:30 am - 15:30 pm and will be paid extra for this. There are no out of hours with this position.
Part-time applicants also considered – minimum 3 days per week required.
The Candidate:
This practice really believes in using the nurses to their full potential and invest heavily in certificates for the nursing team.
The salary on offer from £23,500. CPD is offered with no limit on this too and you are given 3 days. They also pay for all professional fees.
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
