There is a weekend rota of 1:4, working from 8:30 am to 2.00 pm and remaining on call for the rest of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. When working the weekend, the nurse will only be required to work 4 days the following week. The practice performs almost everything in house so there are plenty of interesting medical and surgical cases as well as a range of nurse clinics including weight clinics, senior and new pet checks, laser therapy sessions etc. Nurses will help with consulting, care for inpatients, some reception work as well as all general nursing duties.
The practice has a friendly and supportive team and are looking for the right nurse to join them. The ideal candidate will work well as part of the team but also be happy to work independently, having already had some previous practice experience. In return, the practice is looking to offer a generous salary, RCVS and BVNA fees paid for, and 28 days holiday (including bank holidays). The practice is keen for their new team member to develop any particular areas of interest and build the services and care available to clients.
