We are currently recruiting for an Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a state of the art ophthalmic referral practice in Central Cumbria, on a permanent basis
The Client:
Our client is an ophthalmic referral practice based in Penrith, providing services to animals across the North of England. They are a small and friendly team who offer support and great further development for their staff. The impressive facilities allow complex ophthalmic surgical procedures and highly advanced medical treatment to be undertaken. Our client will soon be relocating to a new larger premises, in an exciting expansion of this specialist facility.
The Role:
Full or part time applicants would be considered for this exciting opportunity. Normal opening hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with emergencies only seen evenings and weekends. Weekend commitments are just 1:5 and on call only. Weekday on call would be 1 evening per week for full time, or pro rata for part time.
Previous experience of ophthalmology isn’t required as full training will be provided!
The Candidate:
You will be qualified and registered, a good team player and keen to work in a friendly referral environment, that is supportive of further development.
The right candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary DOE, CPD allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday pro rata and paid VDS and RCVS fees.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
