We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly, independent, expanding, and recently refurbished veterinary practice situated in the Sutton area of Surrey. The practice requires a fully qualified veterinary nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Client:
Our client is a 100% small animal busy, progressive first opinion practice. Currently, the practice has a team of 8 vets, 12 nurses, 6 receptionists and 3 kennel staff. Over the last year they have been extensively renovating the practice. Their facilities are excellent with separate dog and cat waiting rooms, separate cat, and dog consulting rooms, digital X-ray, self-contained dental suite (including dental x-ray) and separate induction /2 sterile theatres where they do a large amount of surgery including orthopaedics.
The Role:
This is permanent full-time position working 41 hours per week with a happy, dedicated team on a varied shift pattern Monday to Friday [7.30am-3.30pm or 8am- 3pm or 8am to 4pm and 2 x 10am -8pm] & includes 3 early finishes
The weekend rota includes a full weekend - 1:11- Saturday 8am-4pm & Sunday 10am- 2pm plus evening inpatient care if needed, and Saturdays 1:22 8am-4pm. Time in lieu for weekends worked is given in the following week. No OOH duties.
Salary is dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate will be looking to work in a busy first opinion clinic and keen to progress their career through funded CPD. Opportunities to specialise in various areas of Veterinary Nursing are also available.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
