We are currently recruiting on behalf of a veterinary practice situated in Wigan, Lancashire. The practice is expanding and requires a dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for imaging to run their new CT facility.
The Practice:
This is a family owned Tier 3 veterinary hospital which has two branch practices who believe in a high standard of care for their patients and customers, and team harmony is also very important.
They are also a nurse training practice which offers a wide range of services and equipment that ensures that no two days are the same. They have a grooming salon within the practice and also a grooming school that is very popular. Also, have a sister company that offers an MRI outpatient service to other vets in the north west area, this has been in steep growth over the past couple of years and is a credit to the work the team has put into it. They also have a swimming pool and hydro-treadmill that they use post operatively in many cases along with hydrotherapy, ultrasound, digital radiography, theatre ECG and MRI scanner.
The practice is undergoing continued expansion and will be opening an impressive CT facility later in the year.
The Role:
Due to this expansion, they will be looking for Registered Veterinary Nurses to join their cheerful, knowledgeable and experienced team.
The practice would accept applications from Nurses interested in general nursing roles within this outstanding facility, but would also be interested to hear from any with a passion for imaging, who would be keen to take charge and head their amazing new CT facility.
Hours and salary are negotiable and depend on your experience; there would be some weekend involvement on a rota basis for the general nursing RVN.
The Candidate:
The CT nurse position would suit either a Registered Veterinary Nurse with prior experience or one that is passionate who would be keen to learn, as full training will be provided. Any level of experience would be considered for this unique responsibility, as long as you are qualified and keen to learn and have a large involvement in organising and running the practice CT facility.
You will be rewarded with a fantastic salary dependent on your experience.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
