We are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely independent veterinary practice situated in Swindon, Wiltshire. The practice requires a qualified veterinary nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are a family run practice whose aim is to provide high-quality first opinion care for dogs, cats, rabbits & rodents. The main services they offer are anaesthesia and operations, Vaccinations & Health Checks, Preventative Care, Microchipping, Neutering, Worming, Diet, Puppy advice etc. They have a team of vet nurses who are carefully chosen for their high level of compassion, care, and professionalism to maintain the high level of nursing care with some senior nurses having over ten years’ experience.

Role:
Full or part time applicants would be considered for this role, the practice would be happy to negotiate with the right candidate on days/ week worked. The branch is open 8.30am-7pm Monday to Friday so hours will be within these times, weekends will be 1:3 Saturday mornings and you will be required to do an evening inpatient check at the main surgery on a rota basis. There are 4 evening inpatient checks per week, split between 6 nurses (overtime will be paid for this). There is no on call since this is covered by a dedicated OOH service.
Duties include all aspects of general nursing including nurse clinics, team management, stock control, liaising with the vet and training staff, so this role would be brilliant for someone looking to advance their career.

Candidate:
The right candidate will be qualified and experienced; whether this is pre or post qualification experience.
You will be comfortable with sole charge and all aspects of veterinary nursing; friendly and client focused too!

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
