We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established hospital practice based in Brighton that is currently looking to recruit full time veterinary nurse to join them on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
They are a very busy small animal hospital in Brighton and are a well-known independent hospital with an excellent reputation with some of the most modern equipment available including CT, Advanced Ultrasound, laparoscopy and intensive care facilities. Their Brighton hospital is officially recognised RCVS Hospital Standard and Emergency Provider. Our client celebrates the fact here that they are an independent practice that gives individuals the opportunity to work within a great team and family atmosphere.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a permanent veterinary nurse to join them on a permanent basis. The role is full time working 40 hours per week with 30 minute breaks when more than 6 hours is worked, part time hours would be considered for the right candidate. The shifts worked are -
• Monday - Friday nursing shifts cover various shifts from 8 a.m-8 p.m.
• Saturdays (1 in 12 Saturdays worked) 9 a.m-4 p.m.
• Saturdays & Sundays (1 in 12 weekends worked) 8 a.m-7 p.m. (Weekend shifts are included the weekly hours and where you work a weekend you get time off in the following week).
As a day nurse, there will be plenty of opportunities to be involved in a mix of first opinion, referral, and emergency cases which means a very varied & interesting role with the opportunity to practice nursing to a high standard and to benefit from working with a very experienced team.
In return, our client is offering a salary of: on graduation - £19,500, 2 year qualified - £22,500, 3 years & over - £24,642 and at directors discretion (these are dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications). To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
