We are currently recruiting on behalf of a mixed independent veterinary practice in Stone, Staffordshire who require a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The Pratice:
Our client is privately owned and has been providing comprehensive veterinary care for over 70 years, serving Staffordshire and the surrounding counties in the Midlands.
Their team of experienced and dedicated veterinary practitioners and nurses are based at three main practices with two other branches.
They provide their own out of hours emergency service around the clock ensuring assistance can be provided as and when their clients and patients need it.
In the main hospital, they have a full range of medical and surgical facilities where they also offer nursing clinics and hospitalization facilities. Facilities include separate cat and dog wards as well as facilities to hospitalise more exotic species. Modern operating theatre and separate dental suite. Digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy as well as in-house laboratory to allow rapid analysis.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week with shifts being either 08:00-16:00 or 12:00-19:00. There is 1:14 OOH rota which just involves coming in, in case of emergency. There is also a weekend rota which is a 1:11 which consists of a 08:00 - 12:00 in practice and the following Friday will be given off in Lieu.
The salary is negotiable dependent on experience but up to £23,000 for the right candidate. CPD is also offered and negotiable for the right person.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
