We are currently working with a very friendly busy practice with a loyal client base situated in South Yorkshire.
Owing to their ongoing success they are now looking to recruit an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join their dedicated team. This post is unique as the practice generates enough medicine/surgical caseload to support a certificate.
The Practice:
Our client is located in a large market town just 20 miles from Sheffield and close to the beautiful Peak District, Yorkshire Dales & fabulous surrounding picturesque villages. They currently have a team of 6 vets and 6 nurses plus support staff. The practice is well equipped with all the latest in modern technology & includes digital X-ray, endoscopy, cat, and dog hospital ward, an isolation unit, biochemistry, in house laboratory etc. This practice is busy and can offer the successful candidate a variety caseload coupled with a discussion with other vets. This practice has the “buzz” factor.
The Role:
This is a permanent full-time post working 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday either 8.00-17.00 or 10.30-19.00. Weekends will be either 1:2 or 1:3 Saturday 8.30-17.00 or 1:4 Saturday 8.30-17.00 and Sunday 9.00-14.00 with time off in lieu. +
No OOHS required for this role and the consults are 15 minutes.
The Candidate:
You will be working in a friendly and supportive environment with the prospect to grow and develop further. Our client is looking for a vet that shares their passion for outstanding delivery of customer service and care. The ideal candidate will have previous practical experience and be willing to work hard, learn and be part of the team.
The salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience with the potential for bonus and business/succession prospects for the future are excellent.
