We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon on a full-time basis in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
The Company
Our client has a large, bright, spacious, air-conditioned stand-alone surgery that is purpose built with state of the art equipment including dedicated operating theatre, separate digital X-ray room, brand new Ultrasound coming soon, Idexx in-house laboratory, 3 consult rooms, separate dog and cat ward, isolation ward and separate comfort room. They also have a separate staff/break out room. They have a fantastic team of 3 RVN’s, 1 VCA, 3 dedicated Reception staff and a new management team including Practice Manager.
The Role
Our client is looking for a full time, experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is capable of working sole charge. You will need to feel comfortable doing sole charge and be skilled medically and surgically. Cardiology and orthopedic surgery are done here as well as the more routine work you might expect. Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills along with a demonstrable passion for your chosen career and a cheerful can-do attitude would be perfect. Our client is flexible on experience but candidates must be able to demonstrate capability in sole charge and surgery.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9 am – 7 pm and Saturday 9 am – 4 pm. Weekends are on a 1:3 rota. The practice is closed on Sunday’s.
