An independent practice based in Kent are looking to recruit a small animal veterinary surgeon to join the team at one of their friendly branches on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
They are an independently owned group of six practices, founded in the early 2000s providing veterinary services for all types of domestic pets in its modern, well-equipped premises. Inpatients are monitored by an on-site nurse and they operate a full emergency service.
Some of the excellent facilities at their main RCVS accredited Tier 3 Hospital include:
- In house laboratory facilities including electrolytes
- CR digital radiography
- Video endoscopy
- Colour Doppler ultrasonography
- Qualified experienced nursing and support team
This role will be one of their two-vet branches, with consulting and operating facilities.
The Role:
They are looking for a full-time Vet working 4days a week to join their team, hours are between 08:30-18:30, with one 19:00 finish a week on a rota basis. Weekends are 1:5 Saturday surgery until 4pm and Sunday surgery 10-12.30pm, there is time off in lieu for weekends worked. There could be room to negotiate this rota, for the right candidate.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice and be confident with consulting and operating. They should be approachable and a good team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to grow and develop.
In return, this candidate can offer a competitive salary starting from £30,000 DOE (Plus extra income from on call) + £1,500 CPD pro rata
