We are currently working on behalf of a private small animal practice in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, that are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their 4 Vet team.

The Practice:
Our client is very busy RCVS accredited, a hospital status independent practice that has been established for over 30 years. They pride themselves on offering the highest level of care to their patients and owners. Not only do they deal with minor to major operations, they also offer advice from choosing the right pet to helping choose the best food, bedding, housing training and even toys. The team is made up of 4 vets, 3 RVN’s and 5 admin/receptionist staff. They have a range of state-of-the-art facilities including radiology imaging and ultrasound services, digital x-ray and endoscopy machine, In-house lab and theatre room. Consults are between 10-15 minutes. They use the computer system Rx Works.
The Role:
Our client is looking for someone to fit into their enthusiastic, out-going client/customer focused team. Consults are between 10-15 minutes and work on a rota basis.
This is a full time or part time, permanent role on a rota basis. You will be working 1:4 nights on call and 1:3 Saturdays. However, the practice is very flexible and is open to cater for your needs.
There will be some sole charge involved in this role however, there is always someone to contact if you need help.
The Candidate:
In return, our client is offering a generous salary dependent on experience (£30,000 for a full-time new grad) + 5 weeks holiday + 5 days paid CPD.
