A lovely independent practice in Carmarthenshire is looking to recruit a full-time permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon.
The Practice
They have modern facilities including scanners, x-rays, and ultrasounds. They are committed to offering the highest standards in veterinary healthcare. The experienced team of veterinarians and clinic professionals provide excellent treatment and care for patients, to ensure pets/animals benefit from appropriate and compassionate treatment. Their team currently has 3 experienced vets and 10 professional support staff in this branch.
The Role
This role is for a small animal surgeon. The candidate will be working full time on a 4 day week, the team all cover for each other for annual leave, so there will be occasions you have to cover which would make it a 5 day week. The normal working hours are 0900-1800. There is 1 night per week on call and 1.1/2 weekends on and 1:4 weekends off. The role will have elements of sole charge and occasional branch work. Accommodation can be provided, from a short distance from the practice (2 bedroom flat).
The Candidate
The client is ideally looking for 1 years experience. However, as the practice have a great support network they are able to also accommodate a confident New Graduate. The main qualities they are looking for is a trust worthy, reliable and energetic candidate.

Salary: Starting at £30,000 package for new graduate- CPD £1k + 1 day per week + Vet membership + VDS
