Our client is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team of 6 Vets on a basis. The role is to start ASAP. The role is for a full time veterinary surgeon, but part time would be considered for the right candidate.

Our client is located in North Hampshire, provides the highest quality veterinary care in a friendly and personal atmosphere. They provide care for small animal pets such as cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea-pigs and birds.
The practice provides a full diagnostic service and a range of surgical procedures, including full dental care, using the latest anaesthetic agents and equipment and full anaesthetic monitoring. Their ultrasound can be used as a non-invasive aid to diagnose in a variety of conditions, and also to confirm pregnancy in your dog or cat. They have a separate cat and dog ward too, to make their stay as stress-free as possible.
This is a full-time position to join a friendly team of 6 Vets, 9 Nurses, and an excellent support team of admin staff. The group boast 3 separate sites, and although the role would be predominantly based at one location, it may involve occasion visits to the other two sites.
Hours are Monday-Friday between 9.00-19.00. Shifts consist of either 9.00-19.00, 9.00-17.00 or 9.00-13.00.
Weekends are 2:5 Saturdays between 9.00-13.00
There is an out of hours rota, consisting of 1 night per week, and 1:10 weekends.
To qualify for this position, you must have at least 3 years experience or a strong surgical bias as the practice have a varied surgical caseload.
