We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent, family-owned practice located in lovely scenic Lincolnshire. They are looking for a full-time vet to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.
The Candidate:
This is a multi-vet, first opinion role in a busy, well-established practice. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, and be confident with all aspects of routine surgery & medicine. You will be friendly, dedicated & hard-working.
Our client is looking for someone with a good sense of humour and someone who will fit in well with their team well and help drive forward the practice and mentor newer graduates. There will also be elements of sole charge with this role on occasion which you must be confident with.
In return, the practice can offer a generous salary Circa £40,000 depending on experience. They can also offer a CPD allowance of £1000 and would be open to supporting any progression/certificates etc. that would benefit the practice. The practice also covers RCVS, BSAVA and VDS fees as well as paid holiday allowance.
The Practice
Working with a team of 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 auxiliary nurses and 2 SVNs in a well-established practice that has been serving clients based in the community for over 50 years. Their experienced and friendly staff offers the highest standards of veterinary care in a welcoming and caring environment.
Facilities include 5 consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres, isolation kennels, a cattery & an in-house lab. They are equipped with all the usual toys including ultrasound machine & digital x-ray. The computer system they use is Teleos.
The Role:
This is a full-time role, standard hours are either 09:00-16:30 or 09:00-18:00, usually 4 days per week will be consults with 1 day of surgery. You will be on-call once a week, during the week & the weekend rota is 1:5. Weekends involve being on-call between 18:00 & 20:00 on Friday night & then working 09:30-12:00 on Saturday.
