This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated Veterinary Surgeon with a couple of years experience to grow and develop in a very friendly established, independent family run practice where support and encouragement are always on hand.
Based in East Nottinghamshire our client is looking to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their compassionate, caring and dedicated team.
Working with 1 other vet, 3 nursing staff plus a reception team in a close knit team based in a converted town house with a loyal client base. The practice has been fully renovated and kitted out with the latest up to date state of the art equipment & has a purpose built unit which includes reception area, large waiting room, 2 consulting rooms, operating theatre, separate facilities for cats and dogs, X ray, ultrasound, endoscope, dental scaler & polisher, in-house laboratory and car parking. They handle most types of veterinary surgery such as neutering, castrations, spays, dental, gastric dilatation-volvulus, basic orthopaedics, cruciate repairs, lump removal etc.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am-6.30pm, one Saturday per month working 10am-12 noon sole charge, then on call for the rest of the weekend.
This vacancy would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years experience who is a keen, personable individual who is wanting to learn and develop. The successful applicant will be caring and able to communicate well with their existing client base and to work well as part of an integral team.

WE: Saturday 1:4 10am-12 noon with the remainder of the weekend on call
Sole Charge: Yes at the weekend
Salary: Circa £36,000 dependent on skills and experience + CPD
Holiday: 6 weeks
Accommodation: Semi-detached house situated in a lovely location next to a lake
Car: Will be provided
