We are currently working with a pleasant, privately owned, independent practice that is looking for a permanent small animal vet to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client and their professional team of 4 vets, 5 nurses and 5 support staff is committed to providing quality veterinary care and treatment. The practice has an established client base and they offer the following services:
full operating facilities, blood pressure monitoring, cardiology, endoscopy, dental hygiene, radiology, in house laboratory [haematology and biochemistry blood tests], visiting ultrasonographer, cat and dog neutering, inoculations, dietary advice, micro-chipping and health checks.
The Role:
This is a permanent full time position, working 4 days per week between Mondays to Friday 8.30am-7pm with 1:4 Saturdays 8.30am - 2pm or 4pm, no OOHs, and very little sole charge.
The Candidate:
This is quite a busy small animal practice that has built a good rapport with their existing clients in the local area. They are therefore looking for a vet that has good client and patient skills and is able to communicate well at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience, have a ‘can do’, positive outlook, be prepared to bring new ideas to the practice and be happy to work as part of a team.
Role: Permanent SA Veterinary Surgeon
Hours: 4 days per week Monday to Friday 8.30am -7pm
WE: Saturday 1:4 - 8.30am - 2pm/4pm
Sole Charge: Just on a Saturday
OOH: No
Branch work: No
Consults: 10 minutes
Computer: Easivet
Skill requirements/experience: Confident and competent with routine surgery
Salary: Competitive - dependent on skills & experience + £1000 CPD +RCVS + VDS
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
