We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon on a full-time basis to start at a friendly and professional corporate practice in the Poole area of Dorset.
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery is fully equipped with state of the art equipment such as digital radiography, ultrasonography, flexible and rigid endoscopy, Tonopen-Vet, brand new updated include laboratory machines (Idexx Catalyst and Lasercyte, allowing in-house ACTH and BA stimulation tests, electrolytes, pancreatic specific lipase, etc), infusion pumps, and Doppler blood pressure machine.
Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They have a team of 4 vets, 6 nurses and an excellent team of Receptionists. They have a varied caseload and a high percentage of insured clients. The practice has strong future goals to continue to grow the team and the business further allowing the practice to constantly add new facilities and equipment. They currently offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
Our client is looking to recruit a full-time veterinary surgeon ideally with 2 years post-graduation experience.
You will be working on average 40 hours a week with no OOH.
The weekend rota is to be confirmed
The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures.
