We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large Veterinary Hospital based in Oxfordshire. The practice is currently looking to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis ASAP

•             Looking for a Vet to join their 7 Vet practice

The Client:
Our client is proud to be an Accredited tier three hospital practice under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Practice Standards Scheme. To become accredited, the practice has to be rigorously inspected every four years, and has to meet a range of minimum standards including hygiene, 24 hour emergency cover, staff training and providing certain types of equipment. The practices main hospital is based in Oxfordshire and also has branch surgeries, all branches are accredited to Core Standards. They have facilities including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, ECG, fluid therapy, blood sampling in our on-site laboratory and 24 hour nursing care. At present they consist of 7 vets, 8 qualified nurses and 3 trainees.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team ASAP

This is a full-time role, Monday - Thursday 8.45-19.00, Friday 8.45-18.00, with a weekend rota of 1:5 Saturday 8.45-13.00. The out of hours rota consists of 1:5 weeknights and 1:5 weekends.

The ideal candidate would have a few years experience, and competent with sole charge responsibilities when on call.

Hours: Full-Time Monday - Thursday 8.45-19.00, Friday 8.45-18.00. 
OOH: 1:5 weeknights and weekends 
Weekend: 1:5 Saturday 8.45-13.00
Salary: Competitive salary DOE + 25 days holiday + accommodation + memberships

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
