We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established Veterinary Group based in Newcastle. They are looking for an experienced Veterinary surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.
The client
Our client is a long established veterinary practice based in the west of Newcastle Upon Tyne with branches throughout the North East. The group offer an excellent quality of care for your pet at a reasonable cost. They offer a one-stop service for both prevention and treatment of disease. They are open for routine consultations 6 days/week till late, have a cheerful team of friendly receptionists and offer a personal service enabling you to see the vet you want and knowledgeable qualified nurses. They offer excellent premises and up to date equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, video endoscopes and a dedicated dental theatre to name a few. They have a dedicated veterinary team that has the experience and knowledge to diagnose and treat any conditions a pet may suffer from, at very competitive prices.
The role
This Group are looking for a full time vet to join this group due to expansion, it is a basic 40 hour working 5 days a week with a 1:3 Saturday morning rota and 1:16 full weekend rota. OOHs is on a 1:16 evening rota.
In return this client is offering a salary DOE plus a very generous £2k CPD allowance and working towards a certificate is actively encouraged.
