We’re currently recruiting on behalf of an independent, purpose built practice located in East Ayrshire who are looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team ASAP

- To join a lovely team of 6 Vets, 6 Nurses
- All levels of experience considered including new graduate to highly experienced Vets
This is a 100% small animal independent practice consisting of a friendly and experienced team of 6 vets and 6 nurses. Facilities include 3 consult rooms, 2 theatres, prep area, dental suite with digital x-ray, ECG machine with in house lab, preparation area, and separate isolation ward. Their main site is a modern purpose built premises, and the role would include traveling to their only consult only branch surgery around 15 minutes’ drive from the main site.
The practice is looking for a confident, enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon, who can stand on their own two feet but can also work effectively as part of a team. Our client hasn’t specified the amount of years’ experience required to be considered for the role, but just as long as you are confident with routine surgery, then all levels of experience maybe considered from a new graduate to a highly experienced Vet.
This is a full-time 5-week rota consisting of:
- 3 weeks: 4.5 days per week, Monday-Friday either 8.30-19.00 or 8.30-13.00
- 1 week nights on call 18.00-8.00
- 1 week following the week of nights: 3 full days, 2 x 1/2 days Monday-Friday either 8.30-19.00 or 8.30-13.00
In return, they are offering a competitive salary and package + 28 days holiday + RCVS membership paid and CPD allowance.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

OOH: 1:5 weeks
