Veterinary Surgeon

We are currently recruiting for a busy veterinary hospital based in the West Midlands, just west of Birmingham. The practice requires a confident Veterinary surgeon to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.

Role:
This is a full-time position with shifts between 7:30 am-7:30 pm. There is no OOHs and only 1 in 6 weekends.
There is flexibility with this role to be based at the main hospital or at one of their local sole charge branch practices (or split between the two) if preferred.
The ideal candidate will be confident with routine consults and surgery and occasional sole charge if required.

In return, the practice can offer a generous salary from £30,000+ based on experience as well as 5 weeks annual leave, pension scheme, CDS and RCVS fees paid, certificate support, additional CPD allowance etc.

Practice:
This is a fantastic group of four practices with the latest equipment (CT Scanner, ECG, ultrasound, video endoscopy, access to MRI) and has recently invested £30K on the latest laparoscopy equipment.  There's a great team spirit and people like to discuss cases and are keen to help. All the practices are air conditioned and they regularly invest in modern veterinary diagnostic instruments, x-ray, laboratory, anaesthetics and surgical equipment meaning they can always offer the best possible treatment. The practice currently has a team of 20 Vets within their modern, constantly evolving veterinary group. Our client offers a great team environment and work ethic and an excellent support network. The group has a high ratio of RVN’s to Vets and is a very well organized and stable team. 
There's a well-developed management and admin team to support the Vets, Nurses, and receptionists (85 in total)

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
