We are currently working with a lovely, friendly independent practice that is looking to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. 

This is a full-time position to join our clients' lovely practice in St. Helens, Merseyside.

The Practice: 
This independent veterinary group is owned by veterinary surgeons who are able to offer a professional, plus referral service both in the local community and nationally.  Their dedicated team of vets and nurses are happy to provide a comprehensive and caring service from their local branch practices as well, as their small animal hospital which is at the centre of their referral network.  
This current permanent full-time vacancy is based at one of their branches in Merseyside working alongside 1 vet and 5 nurses.  
The practice is able to provide the following services:  back up of a large hospital & referral centre, blood sampling service, home visits, nurse clinics and has up to date facilities which include dentistry equipment, X- ray facilities, and ultrasound.

The Role: 
This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday, the standard shifts are 08:30 18:30 with one late night per week until 20:00. 

The weekend rota is 1:8/9 and there are no out of hours requirements. There will be sole charge on the weekends, so you must be comfortable with this.

The Candidate: 
This post would suit a small animal veterinary surgeon with about 2 years' experience who is confident with some sole charge, 15-minute consults, and routine general veterinary procedures.
