We are currently working with a charming, independent, RCVS accredited practice that is situated close to the coast, rural countryside, the sound of the Mersey, motorway links and ‘up beat Manchester.
This role is for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
This is a privately run practice with 4 surgeries manned by 7 caring and dependable vets, 9 fully qualified nurses, 2 SVNs, 1 experienced unqualified nurse and an admin support team. They are all committed to offering the very best in veterinary care and customer service. All their surgeries are run on an appointment basis so that, barring emergencies, their clients need never to be kept waiting for long periods to see the vet. Their team work to 10 minute consults and have lots of equipment over the 4 surgeries including anaesthetic machines, digital X-ray (at 2 of their surgeries), ultrasound scanners, ECG, endoscopes, dental scalers and well-equipped laboratories (including haematology, biochemistry and electrolytes) enabling them to perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures allowing prompt analysis and interpretation of results.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent post working Monday to Friday 8.30-18.00 ( the last appointment is at 18.00) with one 1/2 day week, 2:5 Saturday mornings 8.30-12.00, no OOHs, and some sole charge.
The successful candidate will be based at two of our clients four locations.
The Candidate:
To qualify for this role, you must be confident with sole charge, both consults, and ops. You will be working alongside 7 Vets, but two of the branches are sole charge.
Interests are supported and encouraged, and the practice is always looking to develop.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary DOE + 5 weeks holiday + Bank holidays + £800 CPD although this can be increased, and certificates are supported.
