We have a fantastic opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with 1year+ experience, to join a friendly team in Manchester, on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
This practice is independent and proud to be so, with have a wide range of loyal clients in the local area. They aim to help make gold standard care more affordable and are purely interested in doing their very best for the animals in their care. This is a rare opportunity since the practice experiences an extremely low staff turnover. They make sure to look after staff and offer an excellent work/ life balance to their team of experienced vets and nurses.
The Role:
This full-time position offers an excellent work/ life balance. You will be working across 2 busy branches, around 5 miles apart, just 9.30am-4.30pm 5 days a week and 1 evening every 2 weeks until 6.30pm. The weekends are on a 1:4 rota basis, with no out of hours requirements.
The Candidate:
You will be comfortable with routine consults and surgery, therefore will have at least around 1-year experience in practice and you will also have excellent communication skills. Sole charge capabilities would be preferred, but not necessarily essential, since there are other experienced vets at the practice.
The practice will offer a competitive salary circa £30,000 - £45,000 dependent on your skills and experience. Being friendly, approachable and a good team player is just as important to the practice as excellent clinical skills.
